Tortilla Soup Mix
You'll need:
-1 796ml can of diced tomatoes
-1.5 cups of diced cooked chicken or cooked beans
-4 Tbsp white wine (optional)
-1 cup corn (frozen or canned)
-1 cup half and half or plain yogurt (optional, can cause curdling as shown in photo above)
-optional: avocado, cilantro, shredded cheddar, hot sauce, pickled jalapeños...
To make on stove:
Brown chicken in large soup pot. Add water, Tortilla Soup Mix, diced tomatoes, wine (optional), and corn.
Simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and add cream/yogurt if desired.
Serve with tortilla chips (included) sprinkled on top and any other toppings you enjoy.
To make in crockpot:
Brown chicken. Add to crockpot with water, Tortilla Soup Mix, diced tomatoes, wine (optional), and corn. Cook on low for 5-6 hours. Stir in cream/yogurt (optional) and serve with tortilla chips (included) sprinkled on top and any other toppings you enjoy.
Ingredients: onion, garlic, chicken bouillon (no MSG), spices, mixed vegetables, tortilla chips
