Bacon, Potato, and Leek Soup Mix
You'll need:
-1 cup (250g) of bacon or ham
-1/2 cup white wine (optional)
-2 cups (500 ml) half & half cream or whole milk.
To make:
Chop bacon or ham and fry until crisp.
Bring 8 cups water to boil in a large pot. Add bacon/ham, soup mix, and white wine (optional), and simmer for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Remove from heat; remove bay leaves and stir in cream or milk.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley.
Ingredients: potato flakes, diced potato, chicken bouillon (no MSG), leeks, onion, chives, spices.
