Outside Round (or Bottom Round) roasts are a traditional favourite and are ideal for oven roasting. Cook it low and slow with dry heat until the internal temperature reaches 135*F for medium-rare. Let it rest before you carve into it, cutting thin slices against the grain. These cuts are lean and moderately tender, so avoid overcooking! You might find this recipe helpful.
